Tennis-Inspired Coastal Engagement Session in Newport, RI

Making your engagement meaningful is always such a fun way to come up with a location and idea for your engagement photos. Lexi and Tyler met playing tennis in college and wanted to incorporate their love and meaning of the sport into their engagement session. They decided on the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport — a beautiful scene for romantic tennis-themed photos.
Tennis-inspired engagement outfits?! Lexi paired a preppy, white collared romper with heels and Tyler embraced the formal style with a blazer and white collared shirt. It was such a cute way to elevate a sporty look into an elegant one.
For the second location, we took a short drive to downtown Newport for the coastal vibe Newport has to offer. We walked through downtown and explored the docks at Bowen’s Wharf which displayed the ocean background filled with boats and the glistening ocean.
Downtown Newport is such a fun spot for a session. Not only is it beautiful, but there are so many things within close proximity - scenic views, the Newport Mansions, restaurants and bars along Thames Street, and the Cliff Walk.
