Wedding on a Private Boat in Boston Harbor

Couple on a boat with Boston skyline background

EVA & JOE / BOSTON, MA

There’s something so special about choosing a space that feels personal. I’ve always loved weddings in non-traditional settings — the kind that reflect what a couple genuinely enjoys rather than what’s expected. When you incorporate something meaningful, like being out on the water in Boston Harbor, it doesn’t just set the scene… it ties the entire day together in a way that feels effortless and true to you. And that is exactly what Eva and Joe did.

PERSONAL DETAILS AND MOMENTS

Eva’s focus on little details for her and Joe’s wedding day did not go unnoticed. From the save the dates, invitations, to her beautiful wedding dress accessorized with a neck scarf and timeless jewelry. The couple planned to do a first look, just the two of them, before heading onto the boat to see their family and friends. A quiet moment with just the two of them was the perfect way to kick off their celebrations along with a glass of champagne and some fun hotel portraits.

SAYING ‘I DO’ WITH A BOSTON SKYLINE VIEW

Eva and Joe officially said ‘I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends with the most beautiful backdrop of the Boston skyline — all while being on a private boat organized and provided by the Charles River Boating Company. They opted for the ‘Valiant’ boat which spaciously fit them and their 25 guests.

Two bars and plenty of seating for your guests to enjoy the cruise around the harbor.

TIME FOR COUPLE’S PORTRAITS ON A BOAT!

Having a an intimate sized wedding guest list and untraditional wedding day timeline allows for so much flexibility. Eva and Joe really enjoyed spending so much time together and taking beautiful portraits on the boat with the Boston skyline backdrop. It was really important for them to spend the most time together and capture the beautiful scene of their wedding day. And the weather was SUPERB.
